The Virtual District office has several features as follows:
Purchase a dog license for your new dog(s) and renew your current dog license(s). All dog licenses are permanent, however, annual validation is required by paying the renewal fee. Pay before February 28th every year to receive the discounted rate.
If you have an invoice or a statement for Alarm fees, you can access your account information under this feature. You can pay your invoices online by using Visa or Mastercard. Download a step-by-step guide of how to pay your Alarm fees online here.
In order to see any information under this feature, you will require your account number and access code which can be found on your utility bill. Once you have added your existing account, you will have access to see your account information, meter reads and transactions on your utility account. You will also be able to pay your utility bill online using Visa or MasterCard. Download a step-by-step guide of how to pay your utility account online here.
If you have an invoice or a statement for billings like rental or map fees, etc, you can access your account information under this feature. You can pay your invoices online by using Visa or Mastercard.
If you are starting a new business in the Regional District, you can apply for a business licence online.
If you have an existing business and would like to pay your licence, you can pay online with your Visa or MasterCard. You can also view the transactions on your account. In order to have access to these features, you will be required to login with your account number and your access code which can be found on your invoices or licence.
Utility Search Certificate
This features is for lawyers or notaries to receive a certificate of outstanding utility billing charges on properties within the Regional District. An account number and access code is required in order to have access to this information. Before you can do any searches, you will need to add your Account to your login. Please contact our office to sign up for an Account if you do not currently have one at email@example.com.
If you are a supplier and have submitted an invoice to the Regional District, you can use this feature to see if your invoice has been processed and if a cheque has been issued in payment. You will need your supplier account number and your access code in order to view any of this information. Please contact our office if you do not have your account number and access code.

Please note that only Visa and MasterCard are accepted for online payments and all Online Payments are SSL secured.
Your Account Number for Utility Billing, Alarm fees, Miscellaneous Billing, Business Licence, Supplier Information, and Permanent Dog Licences can be found on the printed form that you received. These forms would be your invoices, statements, business license, cheque stubs, or dog licence renewals.
Your Access Code for Utility bills, Alarm invoices, Miscellaneous Billing invoices and statements, and Permanent Dog Licences is printed right on your bill/statement/renewal forms.
We only accept payments by Visa and MasterCard online.
It can take 1-4 business days for the payment to be processed on your credit card. Your credit card statement will show the following description for the payment: REGNL DIST.CNTRL OKANAGANKELOWNA BC
On our systems the payment will be showing immediately after you submit it. There is no delay.
